We Support Missionaries

At CAC, we wholeheartedly believe in the significance and impact of missions and missionaries. Their selfless ministry to the Lord and all people help spread the Gospel across the globe.

How?

1. By Empowering the Message

We firmly believe in the Great Commission, where Jesus commanded His disciples to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Our commitment to missions is rooted in our desire to empower the message of Jesus Christ to reach all corners of the earth. We recognize that missionaries play a pivotal role in fulfilling this commission as they step out in faith to share the love and truth of Christ with those who have yet to hear it.

2. Through Financial Support

Supporting missionaries financially is one of the tangible ways we demonstrate our commitment to their mission. Our church family gives generously to ensure that these missionaries have the necessary resources to fulfill their calling. We understand that financial support enables them to concentrate on their ministry, as they have the knowledge that their basic needs are provided for. Through regular giving, we create a practical foundation that allows them to focus on sharing the Gospel, establishing churches, and transforming lives.

3. With Prayer Warriors

Equally important as financial support is our commitment to fervently pray for our missionaries.  Recognizing that they face various challenges and adversities, we come alongside them as their prayer warriors. We intercede for their physical safety, emotional strength, and spiritual growth. Our prayers ask for divine guidance, open doors for ministry, and a deep impact on the communities they serve. Our church family prays regularly, remembering them by name and specific requests as we partner with them in the advancement of God's kingdom.

4. Through Encouragement and Communication

Interestingly, the role of encouragement and regular communication cannot be understated when supporting missionaries. Recognizing the potential feelings of loneliness and homesickness, we actively reach out to them, offering words of encouragement, love, and support. Through letters, emails, and even video calls, we bridge the distance and assure them that they are not forgotten. Additionally, we organize events and gatherings where they can personally share their experiences, victories, and challenges. By doing so, we not only uplift their spirits but also inspire our church community to participate in God's global purpose.

5. Through Partnership and Commissioning

Lastly, we understand the significance of partnering with missionaries on a long-term basis. Our church commits to faithfully supporting them and the ministry to which they are called. With intentionality, we build relationships and connections not only with the missionaries but also with the people groups they are called to serve. We collaborate with them in order to understand the unique needs and challenges of the regions where they are working. As we join hands with these ambassadors of Christ, we commission them to go forth, knowing they have the unwavering support of our church community.

At CAC, we recognize the tremendous impact missions and missionaries have in sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ.
